Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Breadpedia website (breadpedia.net) and the Breadpedia Android app collect, why, and the choices you have. Breadpedia is run by Enes Öndeş. We do not show ads and we never sell your data.

What we collect

  • Website analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records pages visited, approximate country, device type and how you arrived. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, analytics does not load at all.
  • Contact form. When you send a message, your name, email address, subject and message are delivered to us by Web3Forms so we can reply.
  • App account. If you sign in to the app with Google, Firebase Authentication (Google) gives us your name, email address, profile picture and a user ID. We use these only to keep your membership and show your account.
  • Gold subscription. Purchases are made through Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts from Google Play and tells us whether your Gold membership is active.
  • Tools. Numbers you type into the tools are processed on your device and are not sent to us.

Services we use

  • Netlify: hosts the website and the app's tool pages.
  • Google Analytics: website statistics, with consent only.
  • Web3Forms: delivers contact-form messages.
  • Google Firebase Authentication: app sign-in.
  • Google Play and RevenueCat: app subscriptions.

Each of these services processes data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account exists. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer them. Analytics data is kept for Google Analytics' standard retention period.

Your choices and rights

  • You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will ask again.
  • Delete your app account in the app under Account → Delete account, or ask us through the contact page. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in the Play Store.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you through the contact page.

Children

Breadpedia is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
